Troubleshooting Guide for Autochart.ai Mobile App (iOS & Android)

We want your mobile experience to feel smooth and reliable. If something isn’t working the way you expect, this guide will help you quickly resolve the most common issues on both iOS and Android.

🔊 1. Microphone Isn’t Working

Most common causes & fixes (iOS + Android):

1. Microphone permissions not enabled

  • iOS: Settings → Autochart.ai → Microphone → Allow

  • Android: Settings → Apps → Autochart.ai → Permissions → Microphone → Allow

  • Close the app completely and reopen it

2. Another app is using the microphone

Close apps like:

  • Voice Memos

  • Zoom / Teams

  • WhatsApp

  • Phone or video-call apps

Then reopen Autochart.ai and try again.

3. Bluetooth audio interfering

Disconnect headphones or in-car Bluetooth.
Select your Default Microphone inside the app if needed.


🎙️ 2. Recording Pauses, Stops, or Won’t Start

1. Weak or unstable internet

Move to stronger Wi-Fi or mobile data.
If needed, toggle Airplane Mode off/on to reset your connection.

2. Battery Saver / Low Power Mode enabled

Low Power Mode may restrict microphone or background processes.
Disable it temporarily.

3. Too many apps running

Force-close unused apps to free memory.
Restart your device if the issue continues.


📝 3. Transcript Not Appearing

1. Recording was too short

Record at least 5 seconds for processing to begin.

2. Incorrect input language

Make sure the spoken language matches the selected input language(s).
Update under Input Languages before recording.

3. Temporary processing delay

Wait a few seconds — slower networks may take slightly longer.


⚙️ 4. Slow or Failed Note Generation

1. Spotty internet connection

Stable internet is required for generating notes.
Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.

2. Long recordings

Recordings over 60–120 minutes may take longer to process.
Shorter sessions process faster.

3. App pushed to background

Stay on the screen while note generation begins.


📤 5. I Can Only See a Preview of My Note

This is expected — the mobile app shows a preview with key sections.

To access:

  • Full note

  • Document export

  • Full chart history

Please log in through the Autochart.ai web application.


🔄 6. App Freezing, Crashing, or Feeling Slow

  1. Force close the app, then reopen it.

  2. Restart your device

  3. Update the app - Ensure you’re on the latest version via the App Store or Google Play.

  4. Reinstall - Safe to do — all your charts are cloud-stored and remain intact.


📂 7. Missing Charts or Empty Chart List

1. Processing may still be ongoing

Give it 1–2 minutes.

2. Refresh the app

Close and reopen the app.

3. Check network connection

Poor network at the time of upload could delay syncing.
