Autochart.ai captures patient-provider conversations or dictations, organizes them into clinical notes, and automates follow-up tasks like referrals and handouts. It’s completely customizable and works seamlessly with your workflow to save you time and reduce stress.

  • Voice recordings are never stored: All recordings are transcribed in real-time and immediately deleted.

  • Comprehensive Canadian compliance: We adhere to privacy laws, including BC PIPA, Ontario PHIPA, and Quebec Law 25.

  • Partnership with Mirai Security: As our Canadian cybersecurity partner, Mirai Security helps us maintain the highest data protection standards.

    Simply sign up, personalize your settings, and start saving time.


4. How do I sign up for Autochart.ai?

  1. Go to autochart.ai and click "Sign Up."

  2. Enter a valid email address and create a strong password.

  3. Complete the welcome form to customize your experience.

  4. Verify your email to activate your account.


5. What devices and browsers does Autochart.ai support?

Autochart.ai is compatible with a range of devices, though we currently recommend using desktops or laptops for the best experience. Mobile devices are also supported through web browsers.

  • Desktops/Laptops: Works on Windows 10+ or macOS Mojave+ using Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge browsers.

  • Mobile Devices: Compatible with iOS (Safari) and Android (Chrome).

    • For iPhone users: To ensure smooth recording, use the Safari browser, avoid switching tabs, and extend your auto-lock settings to keep the screen active.


6. How do I record a consult?

  1. Log in and click the microphone button to start the Recording Window.

  2. Speak naturally during the patient encounter or dictate a summary afterward.

  3. Click "Generate Note" to produce the clinical note.

  4. View your list of encounters from the Encounter View.

  5. Click on any encounter to enter the Document View where you can see all the AI-generated outputs.

  6. Copy paste the medical note into your EMR, review the original raw, and formatted transcription, send patient communications, create a referral, generate handouts and more.


7. Can I customize Autochart.ai to suit my practice?

Absolutely! Under Settings > AI Settings, you can:

  • Choose your Specialty (e.g., Family Medicine).

  • Set preferred Note Types (SOAP, SBAR, or custom).

  • Create Snippets to streamline repetitive tasks.

  • Adjust Defaults for note length, diagnostic codes, and input/output languages.


8. What happens after signing up?

After signing up, you’ll:

  1. Fill out the welcome form to personalize your settings—fields are searchable, so just click and type.

  2. Verify your email address.

  3. Explore Autochart.ai by recording a sample consult to see it in action.


9. How can I get help with Autochart.ai?

  • Intercom Chat: Use the chat bubble on our website for live support, issue reporting, or self-service resources.

10. Does Autochart.ai require EMR integration?

No, Autochart.ai works independently and doesn’t require integration with your EMR. Simply copy and paste generated notes into your system. We are in the process of developing EMR integrations, browser extensions, and mobile apps. All coming soon :)


11. How do I ensure my recordings are successful?

  • In-person consultations: Use a laptop, phone, or tablet with a built-in microphone.

  • Remote calls: Use speakerphone or select the correct audio source.

  • Ensure recordings are at least 30 seconds long and contain relevant medical information for optimal note generation.


12. Is there a mobile app?

We’re actively developing native mobile and watch apps to further improve usability. For now, use your browser (Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android) for recording and accessing notes.


13. What are Autochart.ai's system requirements?

  • Memory (RAM): 4GB or higher.

  • Processor: 2 GHz or faster.

  • Internet: Stable connection (3 Mbps minimum).

  • Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge (latest versions).
