💡 Tips for Ensuring Sufficient Clinical Data
Minimum Length: Recordings must be at least 5 seconds long to generate accurate medical notes. Ideally 30 seconds or more.
Avoid “Insufficient Clinical Data”: Short or incomplete recordings will be flagged and may lack essential details for medical use.
Include Relevant Content: Ensure recordings contain enough clinical information about the patient’s condition.
Sample Transcript:
Provider: Good morning, Mr. Smith. What brings you in today?
Patient: Morning, Doctor. I’ve been feeling really tired lately and getting these dull headaches almost every day.Provider: I see. How long has this been happening?
Patient: About two weeks now. I thought it might be stress, but it hasn’t gone away.Provider: Any other symptoms, like nausea, vision changes, dizziness, or trouble concentrating?
Patient: No nausea or dizziness, but I do have trouble focusing, especially when the headaches are bad.Provider: How’s your sleep? Are you waking up feeling rested?
Patient: Not really. I wake up a few times during the night, and even after 7 or 8 hours, I still feel tired.Provider: Got it. Any recent changes in diet, exercise, or caffeine intake?
Patient: I’ve been skipping breakfast a lot and drinking more coffee—probably 4 or 5 cups a day.Provider: That could be a factor. Are you staying hydrated?
Patient: I try, but I’m probably not drinking enough water.Provider: Understood. Let’s check your vitals, including blood pressure and hydration, and I’ll do a quick neuro exam to rule out anything more serious. We might consider labs to check for anemia, thyroid issues, or dehydration if needed. In the meantime, try cutting back on caffeine and eating regular meals.
Patient: Okay, Doctor.
Hot Tip:
Want to know if your audio is being picked up perfectly? Check the red rectangle at the top of the recording window—it holds the secret! If the waveform inside is "dancing," your audio input is spot-on. If it’s still, no audio is being detected. This little trick ensures your setup is always on point!
