Once a note is generated, the right pane of the encounter screen gives you a set of tools for turning that visit into everything you need — letters, referrals, handouts, and more. Switch between them by clicking the tab names at the top of the pane.

Tips
- Patient Communication and Provider Communication types can be customised in Settings -> AI Settings under the Patient Communication and Provider Communications tabs.
- Chat is useful after generating a note — you can ask it to "add a follow-up plan in 2 weeks" or "rewrite the assessment section more concisely" without regenerating the whole note.
- Resources works best when the note has sufficient detail about the visit. Adding extra context before generating can improve handout quality.
- Pathways only appears if you have connected the Pathways BC integration in Settings -> Integrations.
Troubleshooting
- A tool tab is missing: Some tools (Patient, Scheduled) only appear when Patient Management is enabled.
- Generate Communication button is greyed out: Make sure you have selected a communication type from the dropdown first.
