Provider communications are letters and documents sent to other providers, such as referrals, consult notes and transfer of care letters.
How to access: Settings -> AI Settings -> Provider Communications tab.
The page lists Your own provider communication types, System provider communication types (for example Consult Note, Referral, Follow-Up Letter to Referring Provider, Second Opinion Summary and Transfer of Care Letter) and public types from other users (coming soon).
- New Communication Type: Create your own template.
- Learn My Style: Build a template from your own example letter.
- Star icon: Set a default type.
- Click a name: Edit it.
- Show Archived: See archived types.
To generate one: Open a completed encounter -> right pane -> Provider Communication, or pick one in Encounter Settings before recording.
