How to Create and Use Presets

A preset saves a group of encounter settings so you do not have to pick them every time. For example, a Telehealth Sessions preset or a Morning Clinic preset.

How to access: Settings -> AI Settings -> Presets tab.

My Defaults

Click My Defaults to edit the settings used when no preset is chosen. These apply to every new recording.

Create a preset

  1. Click Create Preset.
  2. Enter a Preset Name.
  3. Choose a Recording Mode (Dialogue or Dictate).
  4. Pick a Specialty, Visit Type, Note Type and Note Brevity.
  5. Optional: Pick a Provider Communication, Output Language, Input Language 1 and Input Language 2.
  6. Optional: Under Additional Settings, choose a Diagnostic Code option.
  7. Click Create New Preset.

To use a preset

Start a New Encounter -> Encounter Settings -> choose it from the Preset dropdown. Click the pencil icon next to a preset on this page to edit it.

Troubleshooting

  • My preset is not in the dropdown: Refresh the page and open Encounter Settings again.
  • Settings changed after I picked a preset: Changes made in Encounter Settings apply to that encounter only. Edit the preset itself to change it for good.
