What are Defaults?

Defaults enable you to establish preferred settings for options including brevity, input/output languages, and diagnostic codes, guaranteeing "a consistent and efficient documentation experience."

How to Use Defaults

Before the Consultation: Configure your defaults so they automatically load in the recording window each time you access it.

During the Consultation: Your settings load automatically when recording starts. You can adjust them anytime using the dropdown menu.

How to Set My Defaults

Navigate to: Settings > AI Settings > Defaults tab

Brevity

Choose your preferred note detail level:

  • Detailed: Creates thorough notes suited for consultations requiring extensive documentation, like mental health sessions
  • Balanced: Provides moderate detail in your notes
  • Short: Uses abbreviations and acronyms for brief notes, commonly used in family medicine

Input and Output Language

  • Input Language: Designate which language(s) the AI should recognize in your spoken input. You may select multiple languages
  • Output Language: Select the language for AI-generated documentation

Tip: "With over 100 input and output languages and dialects available, selecting the dialect closest to your accent ensures better accuracy."

Diagnostic Code Selection

Choose your practice's diagnostic code format (such as ICD-10 or SNOMED) from the available options.

Append Predefined Text

Include standard disclaimers or text automatically at the conclusion of every note to maintain transparency and consistency.
