Getting Started
You can sign in the same way as before at autochart.ai.
If you are new, simply create an account to get started.
Our Help Center articles have been updated with new screenshots and guidance to match the refreshed interface. The videos will updated in the following week.
Creating a New Encounter
Click New Encounter to start
Choose to apply your preset settings or start fresh
Access all encounter options by clicking Encounter Settings
Encounter Settings include:
Note templates and visit types
Dictation or dialogue recording modes
Note type and Learn My Style
Note length and provider communication settings
Specialty selection
Input and output languages, with support for 100+ languages and dialects
Custom presets for faster workflows
Recording Your Encounter
Click Start Recording to begin
A live waveform and real time transcription will appear
Recording timer supports up to 120 minutes
Change microphones or input language during the encounter
Pause, discard, or generate your note at any time
Context and AI Chat
On the right side of the screen, you can:
Add written context
Attach files using the paperclip icon
Choose whether added context is included in note generation
The AI Chat feature allows you to ask questions in real time, even while an encounter is running.
You can also minimize an active encounter to switch between multiple encounters seamlessly.
Generating and Editing Notes
After generating your note:
The note appears on the left
The full transcript appears on the right
Notes are fully editable
From the transcript panel, you can access:
Patient communication
Provider communication
AI Chat
Resources and pathways
You can:
Regenerate notes
Copy rich text or plain text for EMR use
Email notes
Fill PDF templates
Use Learn My Style
View note version history
Incomplete Recordings
Incomplete recordings are now located in the left sidebar under a dedicated section.
From there, you can:
Resume an encounter
Delete incomplete recordings
Settings and Customization
Under Settings, you can manage:
AI settings such as specialties, note types, snippets, and presets
App settings including display and clipboard options
Account preferences like auto sign out and multi factor authentication
Subscription and billing history
All previous customization options remain available.
