How to Turn On Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

MFA adds a verification code to your sign-in for extra security.

How to access: Left sidebar -> Settings -> Account -> Multi-Factor Auth tab.

  1. Choose where to receive codes: Email or SMS Text Message.
  2. Click Enable MFA and enter the code you receive.

When MFA is on, you enter a code each time you sign in from a new device. Codes expire after 10 minutes. You can mark a device as trusted during sign-in to skip the code on it for 30 days.

Troubleshooting

  • No code arrived: Check your spam or junk folder, or the number shown, then request a new code. Codes expire after 10 minutes.
  • Wrong email or phone number shown: Contact support so we can update it.
  • Locked out: Chat with us or email support@autochart.ai.
